EXO Travel is pleased to welcome Vicky Sampson as Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland.
Vicky is joining our global sales team at an exciting moment of growth and opportunity. The UK remains one of the world’s most influential luxury travel markets, with a sophisticated advisor community and a strong appetite for meaningful, experiential journeys.
In this role, Vicky will be responsible for deepening relationships with key partners, supporting travel advisors by boosting their confidence in our destinations, systems and products as well as introducing a new wave of high-quality partners to the breadth of EXO’s portfolio. She will also play a strategic part in elevating our B Corp commitments in the market, ensuring that responsible travel remains central to how EXO engages with UK partners.
‘I bring a wide breadth of experience, from large-scale tour operators to smaller agents, and I’m really looking forward to weaving that together with my passion for sustainable, meaningful travel to help EXO grow in the UK,’ Vicky shares.
Her blend of industry experience, relationship-driven mindset and deep appreciation for meaningful travel aligns seamlessly with EXO’s values and vision.

Vicky’s love of travel began in Stratford-upon-Avon, where her first job at 14 involved welcoming tourists from all over the world in a local café. Looking back, she says it was probably her first taste of the global travel industry. That curiosity for people and places grew stronger when, at 18, she set off on a solo backpacking adventure through Australia and New Zealand.
‘The freedom of exploring new places, meeting people from everywhere and saying “yes” to experiences I never imagined completely hooked me,’ she reflects. From there, her travels only got more adventurous, with long overland journeys across Southeast Asia and Latin America. She shares that it created ‘an ever-growing appreciation for the magic of connecting with different cultures, being immersed in epic scenery and people you meet along the way.’ This still inspires her in her day-to-day life today.
After studying Business and Psychology in university, Vicky moved to London and launched her career at Trailfinders, discovering that travel sales brought together all the things she loved: connecting with people, planning meaningful experiences and staying close to the world of travel.
Her career then took her into product management, first with an adventure tour company, then through seven formative years at Audley Travel and later into the luxury ski sector, where she helped develop a brand-new tour operator.
‘I’ve always had a passion for relationship-building and knew I ultimately wanted to move into a Sales Account Manager role,’ Vicky shares. ‘Those opportunities are rare, so when I saw this role at EXO (a company I first worked with back in 2008) I knew it was the perfect fit.’

This blend of sales experience, product expertise and hands-on industry knowledge now guides Vicky into her new role at EXO. A key area of focus will be the growing community of highly skilled advisors branching out to establish their own independent boutique agencies.
‘These professionals have incredibly loyal clients and a strong focus on quality over volume,’ she notes. ‘They align naturally with EXO’s strengths, and I’m excited to introduce them to what we can offer.’
Beyond relationship development, Vicky aims to empower advisors with deeper confidence in EXO’s destinations, systems and product portfolio.
Beyond her passion for travel, movement and wellbeing play a big part in Vicky’s life. Although her marathon and half-Ironman days are behind her, she still enjoys cycling, running and joining fitness classes when she can.
‘Movement, good food and spending time in nature are my perfect balance,’ she says.
